Honoring Our Heroes: Delta Professional Service’s Tribute to Veterans
As the nation prepares to celebrate Veterans Day, Delta Professional Service proudly salutes its military veterans and extends heartfelt gratitude to all the brave men and women who have served in the armed forces. This day holds special significance as we reflect on the sacrifices made by our military personnel and express our deep appreciation for their dedication to preserving our freedom.

Veterans Day, observed annually on November 11th, commemorates the armistice signed in 1918, marking the end of World War I. Originally known as Armistice Day, it was later renamed Veterans Day in 1954 to honor all American veterans who have served in times of war and peace. The day serves as a reminder to recognize and thank those who have selflessly defended our nation.
To celebrate the profound impact of military service, Delta Professional Service invited its employees to share their connections to the armed forces. Employees were encouraged to submit photos of their time in service or to honor a family member who has served. These submissions can be viewed on DPS’ SkyHub page throughout the week leading up to Veteran’s Day, providing a poignant visual tribute to the military experiences within the company.

Delta Professional Service’s commitment to honoring veterans goes beyond mere acknowledgment. The company takes pride in the diverse group of military veterans within its ranks, acknowledging their invaluable contributions both in and out of uniform. These individuals bring a unique set of skills, discipline, and leadership qualities that greatly enrich the company’s culture.
One notable avenue able to support our veteran community is the Veterans Business Resource Group (VBRG). The VBRG serves as a crucial resource for members and veterans alike, fostering a diverse, inclusive workplace aligned with Delta’s core values and Flight Plan. Learn more about the VBRG here.
As we celebrate Veterans Day, let us not only remember the historical significance of this day but also express our deep appreciation for the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.
